Assalam Alaikum Sisters,

Yes, it is quite hard to find appropriate material for the little ones. Sister Samirah from Talibiddeen Jr. has provided me with lots of great material. I use her printouts and see what I can do with the very little one. Watch out for Sister Khadija's Ramadan kits that will soon be available on Barakah Life Handmade!

Assalam-alaikam Sister,
Hey you beat me to it. I made a note of the details for Islamic Awareness Week, so that I could do something for it when it came up.
I like this years topic too.

Assalam-alaikam Sister Umm Nassim,
I have never heard of lapbooking before, so I looked it up. I like the idea. I encourage my little girl to scrapbook (it stops her and my son sticking their stickers all over the house and gives her a proper place for her drawings), but this is more structured. I think I'm going to have a go when I am more organised insh'Allah.

Assalam-alaikam Sister,
JK for this interesting post. I will make time to sit with my kids and watch this insh'Allah. I am always looking for stuff that helps me to show them that not everyone in the world has what they have and that they are very lucky. I hope something like this would encourage empathy and understanding.

jazakh'Allah-khairun for the link to this excellent site. As my children are still quite small, its even more appropriate for them. May Allah (SWT) reward you for bringing this to my attention as it has given me some good ideas amd some motivation.
