Islamic architecture, art, and urbanism images in MIT’s Rotch Visual Collections Teaching Collection and Aga Khan Visual Archive constitute an image repository for materials that have been donated or produced and funded by the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture. The collections, consisting of 35-mm slides, digital images, and photographic prints, provide access to images of a cross-section of Islamic culture and architecture of historical and contemporary importance–buildings, cities, sites, and monuments designed for Islamic societies.
