I just completed an eBook on disciplining Muslim children that is due to be launched March 1, 2011, insha’Allah. I think this book would be helpful for teachers and parents, in particular those in charge of children with special needs. Recently, a mother in Florida killed her two children because she’d become intolerant of their rude behavior. Just last year a Muslim mother killed her two children because they were autistic. Muslim teachers and parents are not immune from the stresses of training and raising children.
Because of your background in educating our youth and your participation within the Muslim community, I think your knowledge of this book would be advantageous during your interactions in gatherings related to issues of training and parenting Muslim children.
